And, unlike many vacuums that can mop it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids items such as dog toys and bowls (but not poop).
Other great features include a self-emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing, adjustable to water temperature, and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also alter the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.
Like the S8 It also has multi-room smart mapping that can distinguish between laminate, carpets and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. It can also skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to save time. If you have a wide range of flooring in your house and don't wish to spend additional money for a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping capabilities, this is a great choice.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great choice if you are looking for a versatile robot that can handle regular daily maintenance and touch-ups for messy water stains. It offers a broad range of features like a self-emptying dustbin, a separate water refill dock, and customizable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet, and it's able to navigate around furniture legs and socks with ease. It's unable to pick up tangled rug tassels up and its battery drains quicker than other models we've test.
With a cost of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and handy automation into a sleek. It didn't do as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests like the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however, it did very well overall. It has a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the incredibly powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It will even automatically remove and reattach the mop pads, and not leave your carpets soaked.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for those who live in cramped spaces. It's extremely fast and quiet and can maneuver tight spaces with ease. It also does a very nice job of getting pet hair out of carpeting.
It's smaller than its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be configured to take photos of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as 'not found' to ensure that they won't be picked up again during future cleanings. The photos are secure and not connected to your account.
It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, however it isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
